Nepal - Women are Working and They Will Win !

At present, Nepal comprises a huge women workforce from very bottom level of work to the top post of the nation. Women are working here to buy a bread, to feed their children, to fulfill their necessity and desire, to serve the community, to aware the community, to achieve ones ambition and goal and ultimately to lead the nation.

Nepalese women are working as a house maker, a farmer/field worker, a forced slave/a prostitute, a teacher/academics, actor/director/singer/dancer/artist/writer, Journalist, assistant/manager, social worker, army/police, nurse/doctor/dentist, investor/entrepreneur/business person, politician/leader/diplomat, lawyer/judge/chief justice, minister and president.

Recently, Nepal has achieved a substantial aspiration towards empowering women and putting women first by appointing accomplished women in three most authoritative post of the nation. Vidhya Bhandari, Onsari Gharti Magar and Sushila Karki as respectively, President of Nepal, Speaker and Chief Justice of Supreme Court.

Although women are working here, the issue of women hasn’t addressed properly yet. Women are being exploited at work places; women are harassed in public places, they are not safe even in their own house, women are deprived from assets/land/property and most importantly taking decisions.

Women are working and they are earning

Women are working and they are awaking
Women are working and they are developing
Women are working and they can win!
